POST-INSTITUTE QUESTIONS FOR RENEW PRECEPTORS
(after workshop)
Purpose: To gather information about what individual team members thought of the institute, in particular the planning sessions.
Thinking back on the RENEW institute, what are your thoughts on it now?
How would you describe this institute to another teacher or administrator your district in terms of its content, process, purpose, etc...?
How would you judge the overall quality of the institute? How appropriate was it for yourself and fellow team members? (probe if not mentioned: length, daily agenda, balance between scheduled time and free time, content -- balance between equity and math)
Were your expectations met in regards to planning for your future work as a preceptor? unaddressed? Did they shift during the week?
What parts of the institute were most valuable to you personally? and professionally in the work that you do? [list some of the components: PEP, dyads, support groups, math activities, team meetings, team building, etc.]
What might have made it more valuable to you?
Has your team met since the workshop? When do you plan to meet?
What are your specific plans for next steps?
What supports do you need to accomplish this (from each other, from the RENEW leadership team?)
